"A Great Jihadi Leader"

The world of jihad mourns the loss of its prince of terror. No mind, there will be others. There always are.

Like the monsters slain in Greek mythology which, in their death throes, give birth to countless clones, all mature at birth and all imbued with the same scorching hatred of the enemy; all sworn to sacrifice themselves, unthinkingly, to fight to the death.

These monsters exist, they multiply exponentially, refusing to become human beings, revelling in their nihilistic psychopathic perfection.

Hezbollah, mourning their master strategist, Iran's proxy terror master, bleats grandiloquently about vengeance, eager to bloody the earth beneath their feet once again.

The death of Imad Mughniyeh represents a profound call to arms, an aphrodisiac of jihadistic intent. The deadly disease that is jihad is freshly infused with the red, red wine of resolute clarity, appreciatively sipped from the goblet of divinely inspired slaughter-intent.

Iran has lost a valued tool, a living inspiration to the appeal of jihad, aspiring toward the most coveted post in the arsenal of the movement: martyrdom.

Martyrdom achieved in the war against the infidel and the Jew is a triumph of accomplishment. Why then, do they lament his passing? They will soon enough fill the gap his elevation into Paradise will present for their ongoing use.

What an inspiring lifetime trajectory, from bodyguard to Yasser Arafat, to creator of Hezbollah. What a truly amazing resume the man presented as a strategic mastermind of terror.

Think of all those hundreds of innocent people whom his exact measurements of explosives emplacement- who were alive and functioning, thinking and being, loving and relating, and then, in a single instant - removed from life.

This was no slacker, this was a dedicated death-dealing genius whose plans were executed and in their commission left the enemy bemused, confused and beaten. Bombing embassies, schools, churches, community centres.

High-jacking airplanes, instilling terror wherever their depredations occurred. Kidnapping, torturing and murdering intelligence agents, church emissaries, servicemen, Marines, paratroopers and innocent by-passers at will.

Purportedly the inspiration for none other than Osama bin Laden, he brought passion and rigour to his work of delivering death. Hajj he was called? The sacred pilgrimage to death? As though in paying obeisance to Allah, honouring Islam as one's life.

This terror prince sought to honour death, and in so doing ensured he would pay with his life, although he took heroic steps to deny death its homage.

Others stand ready to take up the cause, to bring to fruition that which his death holds in abeyance. And his party of the faith and in the faith fete his triumphs: "After a life full of jihad, sacrifices and accomplishments ... Hajj Imad Mughniyeh ... died a martyr at the hands of the Israeli Zionists".

Should they not then be grateful to those "Israeli Zionists" who so purposefully and successfully led him to his Master?
