Creating His Own Mythology

He is the champion of Libya, the peoples' choice, and they adore him. He has led Africa in its march toward responsible governance for the countless countries encompassing the tedious problems of ministering to all their citizens equally without fear or favour, and certainly without resorting to tribal entitlements one over the other. He is the Lion of Africa, the King of Kings. Ozymandias had nothing on Gadhafi.
"I want to say to the Crusader cowards that I live in a place where I cannot be reached or killed; I live in the hearts of millions."
So he is immune to capture and/or assassination, for whatever happens to Moammar Gadhafi, his memory, his spirit, his essence, his fame, his beloved status will continue to exemplify the very highest standards of African love of the people, of the land. One can see how energetically Robert Mugabe among others is attempting to emulate the nobility of mind and purpose of Gadhafi.

Of course the infidel Crusaders are cowards; they attack from above, they will not come face-to-face with Libya's military, with the courageous emissaries of Libya's esteemed regime. And the riff-raff of Libyan society, their courage bolstered by illicit drugs supplied by the West, and armed and trained by Islamist radicals are cowardly usurpers pleading with the West to intervene on their behalf.

NATO air strikes are responsible for the inexcusable murder of countless innocent Libyan civilians. It is a farce that they conduct under the blighted auspices of the United Nations. The true issue is the greed of Western powers for Libyan oil. Mussa Ibrahim happily speaks good news, that Moammar Gadhafi "is in very good health, high morale, high spirits, and is in Tripoli".

We were concerned for no good cause. All is well.

But of course the NATO bombs have been responsible for killing innocents; the strike on his Bab al-Aziziya compound "led to the martyrdom of three civilians, journalists." Who knew that Col. Gadhafi was so heavily invested in concern for the well-being of journalists? Of course a NATO strike also killed eleven imams, and wounded 50 other people.

An imam, Nureddin al-Mijrah, demonstrating his utter devotion to Col. Gadhafi, urged that "Muslims all around the world" kill one thousand people for each of the dead imams, and those eleven thousand should be targeted in "France, Italy, Denmark, Britain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates".

As for those Libyans representing the National Transitional Council eager for recognition as the "legitimate and credible" voice of the Libyan people, they too have something to answer for: the deaths of sub-Saharan Africans in Benghazi by angry mobs believing they were Gadhafi mercenaries.

Poxed houses.
