Why Is It?
Hezbollah is comprised of such unrelenting, murderous soldiers-of-Allah that they simply cannot conceive of directing their activities and their lives toward a resolution of enmities. They are indissolubly married to the absolute requirement to fight, to kill, to fulfil an impassioned need for revenge. Compromise is not a trait that could be born of these savage messengers of god, not a willingness to lay down arms if only to satisfy a human and humane empathy for the people whom they claim to represent.Instead, Hamas and Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad prosecute their war games, taking great pleasure in devising new schemes and wreaking untold misery upon the population they target with their hate, as well as their own populations who suffer the considerable effects of backlash from those very same targets. If any of this makes intelligent sense to the casual onlooker, it would be to an onlooker who approves of nihilistic non-values, who is a psychopath by nature, who enjoys human suffering.
Why is it, how can it be, that they have no regard for their own people whose suffering is a direct result of the vicious actions these terrorist groups insist on inflicting upon Israel? They are sufficiently cunning to ingratiate themselves with these long-time Palestinian sufferers by indulging in "good works" on the one hand for the benefit of Palestinian society, while at the same time celebrating their indulgence in mass murder of Israeli citizens on the other.
This is a disarming ploy used by many uncivil, unlawful and vicious groups elsewhere in the world: The Roman Catholic IRA 'looking after' their own people while murdering Protestants and Britons in general; the Mafia in Sicily who 'looked after' their own, while pursuing their murderous and law-defying exploits; the brutes at Tammany Hall, the indigenously-famous American criminals of Chicago and elswhere, who represented a brutal free-for-all with proscription in the U.S. in the first half of the 20th century. And of course countless other groups in politically revolutionary Central and South America, committed to violence to maintain their positions, yet working with the poor and underprivileged to ensure that local populations viewed them favourably and would not revolt against their presence, or work with authorities to expunge them.
We have the spectre of Palestinians approving of the murderous actions of Palestinian terrorist groups, like Hamas, because those who represented them politically in the past had done little-to-nothing to ameliorate their living conditions while ostensibly bargaining with the State of Israel to resolve troubling issues for the betterment of each entity, while utterly lacking in conviction and purpose to create peace. (Now, when all appears to be in utter chaos, the Palestinian Authority represented by Fatah is finally attempting a workable solution - a little late in the making.) We have the vision of South Lebanese Shiites in complete support of the war-mongering of Hezbollah, blaming Israel for the shortcomings of their existence, and not the destabling effects of the actions of Hezbollah.
Militant Islamists have taken this ploy to a new low and in doing so display with pride the utmost in vile and odious behaviours possible to humankind.
