Who, Us?

Oops, just as well Michelle Obama is prudently observing where she places her feet, walking down those stairs. Must be something about the environment. President Obama perhaps having caught some odd viral-strain emanating from the G-8 host with the predictably male-raptor 'conquest' disease common to Mediterranean males of the species.

It's abundantly clear that President Sarkozy needs no improvement in his predatory-male techniques, they've been well honed over the years. It's the bemused, amused look on President Sarkozy's face as he observes President Obama's (instinctive?) reaction to the passing presence of a woman who has obviously caught the eye of both that is worth a second look.

Who wouldn't enjoy hearing what the First Lady has to say to her husband? He'll be duly chastened, doubtless. Interesting to note that most men simply don't appear to be immune to the near-automatic response of ogling gams or buttocks. Symptom of a primal animal attraction, to put it bluntly.

And then there's our redoubtable Prime Minister Stephen Harper. I'd personally be floored to see him reacting in this manner, given exposure to a similar situation. Better that he be chided for tardiness in appearing for a group photograph of the G-20 leaders than that he indulge in the male-juvenile shtick. Either of which elicits a bit of a laugh; good for what ails us.

That's our man! (among the boys).
