Divine Punishment
Tehran, the capital city of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is an ancient city and no doubt a very beautiful one. It is also reported to be one of the world's most polluted cities. Which a dark cloud of smog hangs over. Definitely not beautiful. Nor healthy for the residents of the city and its environs. Congested lungs, harmful particulate matter hanging in the air, ugh.

The smog, we are informed, represents a kind of collateral damage, thanks to the UN/US-imposed sanctions against the country's administration which continues to defy international opinion in its implacable love affair with nuclear empowerment. The country has received through divine authority relayed to Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the right to enrich uranium and produce nuclear energy.
Nuclear-tipped bombs are notorious for the waves of energy they are capable of disseminating, obliterating everything in their path. And no force on Earth, and certainly no other countries, no UN-assigned nuclear investigating agency, and no compendium of censors has the right to impede Iran's progress in its nuclear program.
Ask Venezuela, Turkey, North Korea, Burma, Pakistan, all of which countries have aligned themselves in support of embattled Iran, intent on proving there is little justice to be expected from the democratic countries of the world. Iran is grateful for the moral support of its friends and colleague-states in nuclear advancement.
Iran has also become proudly independent in the refining and production of gasoline from its very own wells, no longer dependent on the refining capacity of the countries to which it exports its raw energy. Petrochemical plants in Iran have become diversified and capable of producing, what..."Low quality of vehicle fuel".
Iran no longer requires the importation of gasoline, but now celebrates its use of low research octane, "Iraq grade", fuel. Never! claims the official in charge of transport fuel management; that charge represents a predictable Western calumny. It is, instead, "Gas heaters and water heaters" that represent the increase in Tehran's air pollution.
But the wholesale smog is no real inconvenience. It represents an opportunity to call for public holidays. Stay at home, close down all businesses, leave the highways clear of traffic. Do not repent; rejoice! Breathe easy.
