The Enemy Among Them

There are none so vile as those who are suffused with the belief that their singularly fanatic views entitle them to respect.  Their hateful actions toward others mark them as a threat to any society in which they reside.  It hardly matters what ideology or religion or heritage or culture they represent, for they are universally warped as human beings, their minds held in a suspension of aggravated yet banal hatred of a ferocity that repels other human beings.

Among the Jews, the ultra-orthodox Haredi sect comprise an intellectually inbred group of people dedicated to their vision of Judaism highly dependent on their interpretation of sacred texts awaiting salvation by a Messiah.  That Messiah that arose among the Jewish people two thousand years ago and whose teaching set off a world revolution and the spread of the most successful of all religions across the Globe, is not their Messiah.

That the State of Israel was created before the appearance of the Jewish ultra-orthodox-awaited Messiah represents an occurrence of insulting insubordination value to God, and one that they, the Haredi, will not tolerate.  They will tolerate being financially supported by the State of Israel through social welfare, but they will not, and do not tolerate or recognize the legitimacy of the foundation of the State of Israel.

Their recognition that the State made its official appearance as a by-product of guilt felt by the international community after the liberation of the death camps with the defeat of the Third Reich, and the verification by visual, oral and documented witness to the atrocities brought by the Nazis against the Jews of Europe, is anathema to them.  Among their members are those who deny the occurrence of the Holocaust, helpmeets to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

And these are the unashamed vandals whose reality-distorted, religion-polluted minds were responsible for 'thanking' Adolf Hitler for the occurrence of the Holocaust, denouncing Zionism as an abomination in its having resulted in the creation of the State of Israel.  Hateful slogans sprayed on the Wall of Remembrance in Warsaw Ghetto Square, at Jerusalem's Yad Vashem Holocaust museum represent a blot on the memory of the millions who were sacrificed to hatred.

If Jews themselves can be held to the same standards of anti-Jewish behaviour as non-Jews, then these creatures of discord and misery must be recognized as anti-Semites, a reminder to all that no nation, no culture, no ethnic group is immune from the presence among them of minds torn asunder from humanity by the infection of hatred for others.
