In ‘honor’ of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s arrival in New York for the UN General Assembly meeting, The New York Post decided to deliver a ‘gift basket’ to his luxury suite in the Warwick Hotel.

The welcome basket included a $125 ticket to off-Broadway play “Old Jews Telling Jokes” which was booked in his name, Gold’s Borscht, Manischewitz Gefilte Fish and a brochure for the Museum of Jewish Heritage: A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.

The Post also included bagels and lox in case the Iranian President “needed midnight munchies during his visit to this infidel city” as well as a bobblehead Statue of Liberty and a 9/11 American-flag refrigerator magnet.

“For those quiet moments away from spinning centrifuges,” The Post wrote, “he can relax with a good book. But since it’s likely he can’t read the truth about 9/11, which he condemns as ‘a big lie,’ there’s a picture book, ‘The 9/11 Report,’ a graphic adaptation by Sid Jacobson and Ernie Colon.”
New Yorkers lined up to write individualized greetings to the Holocaust-denying Iranian leader who continuously threatens to obliterate the State of Israel.

“Happy [Jewish] New Year 5773. Available for counseling if you need it,” wrote psychologist Alan Hifler, 64.

“Welcome to New York and the USA! Home of all that is good!” wrote Gabriella Guimaraes, a 20-year-old student from New York.

“We’d gladly burn your tongue with coffee,” wrote another woman.

While The Post tried to deliver the care package to Ahmadinejad at the Warwick Hotel, they were unfortunately stopped by a group of security guards, who would not let them through.

“This isn’t gonna happen. You have to go,” a US Secret Service agent told the group.
