Attack on the Holy Prophet

The deaths and injuries continue to grow, just as the visceral, lunatic reactions to the Danish cartoons set off a maelstrom of maddened chaos in the Muslim world causing death and destruction, so too has the mass hysteria of cleric-promoted group mobfare-gone-berserk exemplified once again the brittle realities of the Muslim world where all that is sacred revolving around Islam reflects the values of entire societies in their utter submission and devotion, utterly devoid of intelligent thought.

Police in Pakistan fire tear gas and live ammunition at tens of thousands of people invested in demonstrating their hatred and wish to avenge themselves on the symbols of those who have dared once again to assault the divine symbols of Islam.  In countries throughout the Muslim world American flags are suddenly in high demand, hustled out for the ceremonial burning of the despised symbol of U.S. world dominance.

The Innocence of Muslims has attained a level of notoriety and public acclaim of a depth and breadth that its producers and distributors might never have envisioned.  Nor might they quite have imagined that in producing the obtusely awkward film that their lives would begin to resemble that of a rather more talented and equally vulnerable writer whose original fatwa has now been renewed, spurred by the video.

The death toll at the week-end stood at 47 since the video of the purported, perverted lifestyle of the Prophet Mohammad first appeared ten days earlier on the Internet, though it had first been aired away back in June.  Someone's agenda is being satisfactorily laid out in this paroxysm of mass chaos, damning the world of the West and instilling even more hatred deep in the hearts of Muslims.

Their oppressors are given free reign to continue their historical suppression of their followers' human rights, from the ayatollahs in Iran to the jihadists aligned with al-Qaeda, from Africa to the Middle East and beyond as long as America can be held responsible, alongside the accursed Jews for all the ills that have befallen worthy Muslims.

In yet another attempt to defang the poisonous serpent, the U.S. laid out $70,000 to pay for Pakistani television ads featuring President Obama and his Secretary of State denouncing the video that has given such grave offence.  Denouncing not the spurious rage and violence, but the video.  Certain to spur the rage to even greater dimensions.

Across Pakistan cellphone service in fifteen major cities discontinued to prevent madmen from using cellphones to detonate bombs.  YouTube banned, because the website has refused to remove the video.  And, avers the country's Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashram: "An attack on the holy Prophet is an attack on the core belief of 1.5 billion Muslims.

"Therefore, this is something that is unacceptable."
