Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh's granddaughter was returned to Gaza on Tuesday after being hospitalized in Israel. Doctors at Petah Tikva where she was treated determined that it was impossible to save her, reports AFP.

On Monday, one year old Amal Haniyeh crossed into Israel for treatment on a serious digestive tract infection.

Amal was returned to the Al-Nasser pediatric hospital in Gaza late Monday "still in a state of clinical death," according to her father Abdessalam Haniyeh.

The World Health Organization notes that every year thousands of Gazans receive medical treatment in Israel.
All this comes despite ruling Hamas's constant attempts to murder Israelis.

Just on Monday a top Hamas spokesman threatened Israel, saying "we will enter your homes, your schools, your positions and your strongholds." He added that Hamas now has rockets capable of reaching a 100 kilometer (62 mile) radius, putting Jerusalem and Tel Aviv within their range.

Israel's medical treatment of the Hamas leader's granddaughter also follows recent calls by his organization for Fatah, the party headed by Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, to "prepare for war" against Israel. In those calls Hamas said "jihad and struggle" were the only way to confront Israel.
