France, Britain, Canada Demonizing Israel
"[The leaders of Canada, France and the U.K. have succumbed to] offering a huge prize for the genocidal attack on Israel on October 7 while inviting more such atrocities.""This is a war of civilization over barbarism.""Israel will continue to defend itself by just means until total victory is achieved."Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu"If Israel were to cease targeting Hamas, hostages would remain chained n tunnels and Hamas would repeat the October 7 massacre -- as it has explicitly vowed.""If Hamas were to release the hostages and cease targeting Israel, a future of hope and prosperity would open for the people of Gaza."Noah Shack, interim president, Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, Canada

Jewish
citizens of France, Britain and Canada may have been shocked at the
condemnation issued by the three leaders of those countries against
Israel for what they construe as 'disproportionate' military action
undertaken by the State of Israel in response to the savagery unleashed
when thousands of Hamas terrorists joined by the PLFP, Palestinian
Islamic Jihad and Fatah operatives, all intent on sadistically raping,
mutilating, burning alive, and slaughtering 1,200 mostly Israeli
civilians in an orgy of bestiality not seen since the Holocaust, on
October 7, 2023. Israel's response since then has been to carry out a
promised military move to destroy the capacity of Palestinian terrorism
to wreak horror on Israelis at any future time.
Although
the Israel Defense Forces' actions have been relatively measured in
comparison to past world wars in terms of civilian deaths, Hamas
publicity and public relations inflating numbers of civilian deaths by
failing to distinguish civilians from militant terrorists as the latter,
as always, took shelter behind the former with the direct intention of
sacrificing Palestinian lives in favour of sheltering the lives of
terrorists. A useful outcome was achieved for Hamas; 'saving' the lives
of its terrorist fighters, while increasing the numbers of Palestinian
civilians whose deaths could be used in accusing Israel of 'genocide'.
The
humanitarian steps that the IDF employs to minimize civilian deaths are
of no account to its Western critics who portray themselves as allies
of Israel and foes of Islamist imperialist jihad, whom leaders in the
West puzzlingly choose to credit by quoting Hamas charges of genocide
against Palestinians, leading them to warn and finally threaten Israel
with isolation and sanctions for not adequately providing food aid to
the very population that elected and approved of the actions of their
terrorist leaders who not only use them as human shields, but take
possession of humanitarian aid for themselves, meant for civilian
relief.

The
same European countries experience no troubled conscience in betraying
Israel, withholding support for its existential dilemma, while
championing Palestinians who have consistently turned down one peace
agreement after another in favour of their own vision of an absent
Israel whose ancestral land these Arab
'Palestinians'
claim as their own. In the same token while Europe and North America
stand firm in their support of Ukraine which faces a threat of
extinction at the hands of Russian expansionism, it becomes clear that
what divides one situation from the other is the involvement of the
future of Jewish life.
The
situation such that Israel's Prime Minister reacts with incredulity at
the sanctimony of Canada, the United Kingdom and France threatening
'action' against Israel citing its military offensive in Gaza. The
unexpected joint statement from Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney,
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel
Macron, recall the years of the Holocaust when all three nations failed
in their humanitarian obligation to give Jews refuge from the Nazi
juggernaut overtaking Europe. While the three countries iterated their
support of Israel's right of defence, they condemn its defence as "wholly disproportionate". Sentiments that have pleased Hamas mightily, prompting them to congratulate Canada (and not for the first time), France and Britain.

"I want to put on record today that we're horrified by the escalation from Israel",
Keir Starmer informed the British Parliament as he announced the
suspension of free trade negotiations with Israel, and the ordering of
new sanctions on West Bank settlements. European foreign ministers in
Brussels are considering a proposal to review and suspend EU trade
cooperation with Israel, led by the Netherlands, considered one of
Israel's close allies in the bloc.
A
reminder to Israel's detractors came by way of Israel's Ministry of
Foreign Affairs' director general Eden Bar Tal who reminded them that
the country had accepted the U.S. special envoy to the Middle East,
Steve Witkoff's ceasefire proposal along with release of the hostages --
which Hamas promptly rejected, while continuing to hold their Ace card;
innocent people whom they hold prisoner under inhumane conditions as a
bargaining tactic for the release of Palestinian terrorists from Israeli
prisons, while continuing to send rockets from Gaza into Israel.
