Ransoming the Remains

Inspired by the recent 'victory' over the 'enemy' by Hamas in securing the release of over a thousand incarcerated Palestinian terrorists in exchange for one gangly Israeli youth conscripted into the IDF, the abductors of the 66-year-old disabled Frenchwoman are prepared to bargain for the return of her body.

After all, Israel has also in the past released hundreds of Palestinian prisoners for the return of dead IDF soldiers.

What's good enough for civilized Israel is most certainly good enough for uncivilized al-Shebaab. Marie Dedieu, who had lived in Kenya at her beach resort home for decades, and whom the locals had grown quite familiar with and fond of, just was unfortunate. She required medication to ensure her longevity. Her captors spurned offers to accept the meds she needed to stay alive.

Unsurprisingly, given the rigors associated with her capture and relocation over the border from Kenya into lawless, battle-scarred, drought-stricken Somalia, she did not survive her ordeal. But all is not lost; her body must surely be worth something...? Her body riddled with cancer, there cannot have been much of it left...

Corruptly immoral, beyond humanity? Let's just say, immensely practical. Given to godly pursuits and since Allah approves what is there to bicker about?
