The Grisly Macabre
Hard for most people to imagine a mind so twisted that it is bent on wreaking a most peculiar and sinister kind of revenge and horror on the world that very mind once inhabited. It is a mind that has travelled well beyond the familiar, lurking now in a dark underworld that only the most depraved can appreciate.This is a human being whose alienation from normalcy and society is so complete that he has deliberately placed himself on a pathological pedestal of universal detestation.
Apart from enjoying the experience of the most debased physical acts that human nature can devise, he appears to have deliberately set out a scheme meant to unfold in a particular manner, choreographed to produce the most elevated extremes of disgust among a wide population base extending beyond the boundaries of the country to which he was born.
A hate-demented mind, resentful of his failed life, determined to become a celebrity of horror.
Others may have succeeded in writing grisly tales of debased humanity. Few would wish to live the experiences, to feel for themselves what it is like to torture, mutilate, dismember, murder another human being. There are practise sessions, and they occurred, with Luka Rocco Magnotta utilizing an elaborate technique to film and highlight the extent of his sadistic streak.
Any attention, even the kind that abhorred him was of value to him.
Satisfying his need to be known, to be recognized, to be noticed.
When he meekly surrendered to German police who took him into custody without fully understanding the character and the notoriety of the man they apprehended, it seemed to be part of his carefully constructed pantomime meant for the world's attention. Other facets of his detailed plan to shock and to horrify have been unfolding, each one of which makes the front page news.
Compellingly satisfying to the man who has identified himself as a thoroughly psychotic misanthrope dedicated to his very special brand of psychopathic deliberation.
Almost all the body parts of the horribly unfortunate victim Jun Lin, have been recovered. With the exception of his head. Doubtless Luka Rocco Magnotta imagined himself producing the hunt-intriguing minutiae of a treasure hunt.
Police are on track to uncover every last detail of the man's grotesque spiral into self-inflicted lunacy.
His prize at the end of the hunt will be life incarceration in a cell so isolated it is guaranteed that he will be protected from the disgust and hatred of the other murderers he will be installed with.
