Message To The Kuffars
Support for Israel was always a tack-on whenever and wherever fanatical jihadists spoke of their monumental grievances against anything non-Muslim, and most particularly anything and anyone reflecting the imperialist West. When fundamentalist Muslims sought to explain away just why there is so much antagonism against all things that smack of Western influence, they always rolled the grave injustice the Zionists have inflicted on the Palestinians off their tongues as justification.
As though this was the crux of the matter, the one and only cause of differences between the world of militant Islam and the rest of the world. It is merely fanciful legend that jihadists exhort to a mission among believers - the Umma - to take up arms as good Muslims against the wayward and decadent West. To do their part in bringing Islam back again to its storied glory in a global caliphate. Restoration of what is imagined existed in a historical time of the sublime and majestic flowering of Islam.
But of course it is not polite nor politic to claim outright - quite permissible in the cloisters of Muslim cliques, on the Internet, in colloquial discussion, preaching in Arabic from the pulpit of the mosque, or in the confines of an academic gathering of like-minded - that the time is right to overthrow the chains that shackle the mighty influence of Islam. Those are the chains set in place by a transitorily more powerful ideology, ripe for rupture.
In the meanwhile, given the temper of these tempestuous times and the readiness of the international community to revert once again to its famously-admirable position of casting blame on Judaism and Jews for all that goes wrong in the world, the cassus belli is the evil of Zionism. To that end, Osama bin Laden once again helps America commemorate a jihadist victory over a debased United States. The country has but to relinquish its support of Israel, and all will be well.
There are even kind and gentle words for President Barack Obama, a good man of good intent, but handcuffed in his wish for remedial action - despite his acknowledgement of the grave harm done the Muslim world by the United States - by the dastardly Republicans, but most of all the sinister Jewish lobby that treats the most powerful nation on earth as its personal playground, manipulating its government to Israel's will.
Americans are called upon to rise up and free themselves "from the intellectual terror of the neo cons and the Israel lobby". Think about this, bin Laden urges thoughtful Americans. "Is your security and well being worth sacrificing for Israel's security". He knows their inner thoughts, that they're averse to the sacrifices, their war dead, brought upon them by their political masters. Rise up and smite the common enemy, Israel. Do that, and be assured al-Qaeda will lay down its arms.
Does the devil wear horns? Or does he perfidiously doff them from time to time, hiding his intent, wheedling the incautious toward perilous shoals? Could this gambit be any more transparent? Or do we misidentify the real target of the message? That huge demographic of transplanted Muslims living abroad, the outer Ummah, (who appear not to understand their own peril, supporting world terror, despite the evidence that the very same jihadists who murder infidels also murder Muslims)?
The still-respected, still highly-popular Barack Obama, who himself believes that peaceful intentions will engender peaceful overtures from previously-threatening sources, is forgiven his obvious shortcomings in not wholeheartedly embracing Islam. He is a creature of his time and his place, and is incapable of battling the U.S. war machine, the war industry, the secret service agencies and the Pentagon, for America is wedded to war and destruction. Not so al-Qaeda, for it is ready to forgive, should the U.S. repent.
The choice is theirs: America, free yourself. You have the example of the collapse of the USSR which did its utmost to restrain Islam. You have the experience of your own collapsed financial institutions, a result of the country's treasury drained in its pursuit of war against Muslims. Jihadists stand prepared and ready to re-commence their purpose of destroying the evil influences of the West and their instruments of power and prestige.
And look, the virtuous among you stand as shining examples of what non-Muslims can aspire to: Jimmy Carter, endorsed by none other than Osama bin Laden. This man of courage and vision found it within himself to equate Zionism with apartheid racism; he can now die in peace with himself, his conscience assuaged.
