"Antisemitism in Canada has risen sharply in recent years, as demonstrated in hate crime statistics and the lived experiences of Jews across the country. These experiences are traumatic in themselves, while often reopening deep wounds rooted in the collective memory of the Holocaust and other historical forms of oppression."

"This pernicious form of hate has existed throughout Canada’s history, from exclusionary immigration policies and formal professional restrictions in the past, to contemporary forms of hate on Canadian streets, communities and online, often driven by conspiracy theories and disinformation campaigns from around the world."

These flawed media and information systems are pervasive, and too often play a critical role in shaping the minds of young people."

"At the same time, the committee heard that antisemitism is growing in various workplaces, with many witnesses highlighting medical professions and academia with particular concern. While Jewish communities share commonalities, they are not all the same, and antisemitism is experienced differently by different people, including based on how antisemitism intersects with other forms of prejudice, such as sexism."

On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Canadian Human Rights Commission joins people across Canada and around the world in honouring the six million Jewish lives taken during the Holocaust. Today marks the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, which alone claimed the lives of over one million Jewish people.

We call on everyone in Canada, to stand united today — and every day — against antisemitism.

We also remember the many others targeted by Nazi persecution, including ethnic Poles, Roma and Sinti communities, Soviet civilians, 2SLGBTQI+ people, people with disabilities, and political and religious dissidents.

We must never forget or deny the scale of the Holocaust, or how these horrors were allowed to happen. They were the result of deliberate state actions that normalized dehumanization, exclusion, violence and hateful rhetoric.

While conflating hate-phobias newly skyrocketing in Canada, none of which are comparable to the rate of antisemitism newly reborn out of the ashes of the Canadian past, its embers re-ignited by the last several decades of immigration, migrants and refugee intake of people from North Africa and the Middle East, bringing with them their cultural/religious traditions of Jew-hate, the Senate investigation into Canadian antisemitism on steroids fails to make a connection between the rise of Jew-hate and the presence of Muslims cultivating it. The very same committee that feels it logical to lump anti-LGBTQ attitudes and 'Islamophobia' together with antisemitism.

 

In so doing the Senate has been singing from the hymnal of the governing Liberal party, which is functionally incapable of expressing its 'regret' at the rise of antisemitism in Canada, without pairing it with a revulsion against 'Islamophobia'. Islam has earned the kind of phobia it claims is expressed against its 'religion of peace' by distinguishing itself as the single most prevalent source of terrorism worldwide. A terrorism that has stalked communities and countries as organized jihadi groups whose names, such as the Islamic State in its many guises, taking over from al-Qaeda taught the world what human butchery in the name of  'peace' through conquest is.

 

It took over17 months for fifteen members of the Senate to interview 44 witnesses respecting Canadian incidents of Jew hate that have spiked in Canada as they have elsewhere since the Hamas-led terrorist attacks in southern Israel of 7 October, 2023 when thousands of Palestinians, including members of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Fatah, and Hamas, accompanied by ordinary Palestinian civilians flooded into Israel on an organized, planned and pre-practised barbaric splurge of mass rape, bestiality and slaughter. 

 

Palestinian student groups have been in the forefront of organizing mass anti-Israel rallies throughout Canadian cities, of organizing university pro-Palestinian camps, of organizing marches through Jewish communities to shout 'Final Solution', 'From the River to the Sea', 'Go back to Poland!', and 'Globalize the Intifada', yet the clever minds of the Senators have been unable to put two-and-two together, unless it's the 2+2 that links antisemitism with 'Islamophobia'. In so doing, they echo the very sentiments of the federal government, and from there most provincial and municipal authorities and police services taking their cue from above.

The 73-page report does go so far as to mention 'young Canadians' radicalized by 'social media', implicating 'malicious foreign actors'. But never do they outright use the revelatory words 'Muslims' or 'Islam'. To do so would be to invite condemnation as 'Islamophobes', and we cannot have that, now can we? Canada, they recommend, must "develop and support digital literacy and social media education initiatives". To change the indoctrinated minds of those nursed on the stereotypes of those accursed Jews who have assaulted the rights of Palestinians by resurrecting their Jewish state on Judean ancestral geography.

 

They could have studied a special report out in 2025 by the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism for an accurate and realistic analysis that they themselves shirked at examining, lest they arrive at a similar conclusion: "For decades, organizations affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Hamas is also an adherent, have managed to embed themselves at all levels of Canadian society. These organizations and their radical ideologies have significant carryover effects, most notably within the academic space."

The Ahlul-Bayt Mosque in Windsor, Ontario held a memorial last month, marking the first anniversary of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's death. The mosque and its affiliate Islamic school the year before had celebrated the life of an operative whose organization is among groups listed as terrorist entities under Canadian law. What is happening in this central portion of Ontario occurs throughout the country, from East to West, in Canada. The steady infiltration has succeeded in establishing the religious authority of imams from the Middle East, many of whom received their theological standing as graduates of the Al Azhar University in Cairo.  

 

The Windsor mosque is known to have hosted events featuring the late Yahya Sinwar, the top echelon leader of Hamas in Gaza, responsible for the atrocities of 7 October, along with former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khomeini, as well as other Hezbollah 'martyrs'. Dead they may be, but their martyrdom serves as a symbol of Islamist conquest in the making, assuring those who glorify these terrorists that their deaths were not in vain, merely a down-payment on Islam's grand plan to Islamicize the world, by all means possible from persuasion to coercion, threats to mass slaughter in the grand scheme of  divine destiny.

The mosque gatherings appeal to the depth of faith of Muslim youth where video images highlight a new day on the horizon where the new generation of Canadian Muslims may henceforth speak boldly of their admiration for one such as Nasrallah or Sinwar, preparing the path for young Canadian Muslims to take on their way to transforming a Western, democratic nation of Judeo-Christian traditions to one where Sharia becomes law and the values of the Muslim Brotherhood, outlawed in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates gain ground in Canada.

 

Unions, activist communities, social networks, academics, school trustees and city councils throughout the country have their share of bigoted members subscribing to the siren call of Jew-hate and the attractiveness of support for the Palestinian claims of victimhood, preferring to view Palestinian terror groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine as 'freedom fighters', exercising their human rights options to confront and battle the Israeli oppressors who 'dominate' Palestinians and 'steal their land'.

 

ISIS-motivated activities among young Muslims involved in terrorism-related charges reached a 488 percent increase, as reported by the RCMP, between April 2023 and March of 2024 in radicalizing youth. Former terrorism expert and FBI agent Lara Burns noted that Hamas has put in two decades of infiltration in North American campuses and media, successfully creating an atmosphere of sympathy for the plight of the Palestinians against a powerful state whose purpose is to extinguish all opportunities for the 'rightful possessorsv of the territories to form a state of their own.

These simmering tensions and grievances giving impetus to Palestinian-led student groups claiming that Israel is conducting a 'genocide' against Palestinians have been taken up wholeheartedly by others whose underlying antisemitism spurs them to unquestioningly repeat the  slanders and join mass protests vilifying Israel and the Israel Defense Forces, while capturing Jewish Canadians in their wide net of contempt, with threatening violent actions to match. Leading to criminal activities where synagogues, Jewish schools and community centres as well as Jewish-owned businesses are vandalized, torched, bombed, shot at.

 

The ongoing marches through the streets of Canadian cities, targeting Jewish Canadians take advantage of the country's commitment to free speech. Canada does have anti-hate laws, but despite the fact that hatred and threats are spouted against an 'identifiable group' with chants of 'final solution' and 'Jews go back to Poland', along with 'globalize the Intifada', and 'From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free', government leaders at all levels, while paying lip service decrying antisemitism, fail to respond to put a stop to the harassment and threats taking place right where people live and are most vulnerable.

 

The radicalization is there, out in the open. The right to own the streets, close off road access, assail people as they attempt to enter their houses of worship, threaten students at universities, engage in mass prayer sessions at closed-off intersections is validated in the opinion of those wreaking havoc, simply for the fact that the police instead of intervening to uphold laws, cater to the ravening crowds. Canada is in a position now where even elementary school administrations and their school boards, normalize Palestinian exceptionalism, making it an offense to criticize Muslims, much less question the destabilizing turmoil they cause.

"In September 2022 Imtiaz was part of a delegation that visited Israel to know and learn with the goal of fostering interfaith dialogue and people-to-people understanding."

Raheel Raza is a well-known and -respected critic of Islamic fundamentalism. She had recently lost a friend and fellow journalist in Pakistan, victim of sectarian violence who was assassinated as an enemy of Islam. She heard later, from Iranian dissidents in California that her mail had been infiltrated by hackers associated with the IRGC. The hackers are known as APT35, or Charming Kitten. And they produced a report on her work. "You are on Iran's radar", one of the dissidents warned her. 

 

A profile of Raza was published on an anonymous account known as KittenBusters. Raaznet, a publication specializing in exposing mass surveillance revealed this to be the case. "The Charming Kitten leaks are more than a window into Iran's cyber command, they are a rare glimpse into the bureaucratic soul of digital authoritarianism: structured, methodical, and quietly ruthless", reported Raaznet on October 17. 

"[The IRGC profile of Raza doesn't contain any threats in terms of saying] go out and kill her', or 'we are going to kill her'." 

"But what they do is they expose you. I'm a 75-year-old grandmother who's just had a kidney transplant. Why would they want to have my photo out there?"

"It's the Salman Rushdie syndrome. They put it out there and then some young Islamist looks at it and thinks -- this woman is against Iran and against the regime. Ergo, she is against Islam, so she's a heretic, and I go to heaven if I kill her."

The IRGC hackers' report on Raza has her photograph and explains in Farsi that it was prepared with information taken by infiltrating her emails from 2017 to 2021, noting that among the 23, 938 emails she sent in that time frame they have commented: "She is an advocate for banning the Islamic hijab and burqa in public places. In 2023 Raza called on the Canadian government to block immigration from 'terrorist' countries like Iran. She is a supporter of Islamic reform and is the author of the book Their Jihad, Not My Jihad."

 

Raza's involvement with a group called the Muslims Facing Tomorrow Association is also in the IRGC report: "The motto of this association is to create reforms in Islam, confront violence and bigotry, and defend human rights. She has introduced herself as a liberal Muslim and believes in gender equality, especially for Muslim women".

 

Contacting a senior member of the Toronto police, Raza asked what she should do. That officer told her to check in with her local division about the security breach. "They sent two officers over but they couldn't quite figure out what this ideology is about. One of them asked me: 'Have you reported this to the Iranian embassy?' I just looked at her and said, 'There is no Iranian embassy'." Mind-bogglingly, the Toronto Police Service officer had no idea that Canada has no diplomatic relations with Iran?!

 

The Islamic Republic's notoriety in its support for terrorist organizations led to Canada under the Conservative government of Stephen Harper, closing down the Iranian Embassy and its Consulates in Canada, while recalling Canadian diplomats from Iran, in 2012. Raheel Raza contacted the federal RCMP through a lawyer about the IRGC threats, but heard nothing back from them.

And there is this, about Canada and Iran. Although there are no diplomatic relations between the two, and much hostility, and most Iranian-Canadians abhor and deplore the Islamist regime in Iran, it is well documented that Canada under its current Liberal government makes no effort to remove Iranians from Canadian soil who are connected to the regime, and who harass other Iranians, threatening them and making their lives a constant trial. Reports to the government produce no solutions, even when it has been proven that regime members live in Canada and appear in public.

 

"I have been a human rights activist all my life. My main work has been to speak out against radicalization and extremism and Islamism. This has been the constant battle", she states. Since the October 7 2023 Hamas attacks in Israel, Raheel Raza has "also been a very vocal advocate of Israel's right to exist and to defend itself. I've been there 13 times, and I work very closely with the Jewish community", she explains. Which in and of itself is enough for the Iranian regime to loathe her and work to repress her voice.

In Canada, Prosecuting Funders of Islamist Terrorism -- While the Liberal Government Funds Terrorism-Enablers

On May 12, 2025, at the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto, Khalilullah Yousuf (36), of Toronto plead guilty to two charges relating to the largest terrorism financing scheme in Canadian history.

Between September 2019 and December 2022, Mr. Yousuf used cryptocurrency and money transfers to fund terrorism overseas. Yesterday, in an agreed upon statement of facts, Mr. Yousuf admitted to the financing of terrorism, contrary to section 83.03 of the Criminal Code of Canada.

"As part of the plea agreement, Khalilullah Yousuf has admitted to raising over $15,000 through the platform "GoFundMe" and contributing over $35,000 to multiple receivers for the benefit of Daesh, a listed terrorist organization."

"Regarding the second charge, Mr. Yousuf has plead guilty to participating in the activities of a terrorist group, contrary to section 83.18 of the Criminal Code of Canada. He has admitted to creating and distributing a collection of over 3,800 internet-based hyperlinks. These links were curated with the purpose of radicalizing, indoctrinating and recruiting for the benefit of Daesh, a listed terrorist organization. Between October 2020, and March 2021, Mr. Yousuf communicated with an individual in the United States who was later convicted there for attempting to provide material support to the same listed terrorist organization."

"This is the largest terrorism financing conviction to date in Canada in terms of monetary value. This conviction is also the first successful terrorism financing conviction in Canada where the accused used crypto currency and the first where they used online crowdfunding."

"At its core, terrorism is violence that seeks to justify itself. But the violence needs support by advocates, recruiters, and financiers as essential parts of the cycle of intimidation and destruction."

 A 12-year prison sentence was handed down to a man, now 36 years of age, who has Canadian citizenship and was a resident of Toronto. Khalilullah Yousuf pleaded guilty to involvement and taking part in financing a terrorist group named as the Islamic State. He admitted to crowdfunding on such sites as GoFundMe on behalf of Palestinians in Gaza and for Muslim religious events, all the while collecting the funding by Canadian contributors to send what he collected to ISIS group supporters in the United States, Spain and other countries.

 

He had applied for, and received pandemic COVID Emergency Response Benefits (CERB) and contributed that money too that he received from the government of Canada under false pretenses. Supporters, on receiving the tens of thousands he provided for ISIS benefit, forwarded to him as proof ISIS was receiving the funding, photographs of weapons and ammunition provided by the funding, along with an ISIS flag.

This man and his schemes do not represent the rare and only incidents of funding collected in Canada by groups and individuals portraying themselves as legitimate charities whose only concern is raising funds for charitable programs to benefit Palestinians or other so-called marginalized groups, or civilian groups caught up in conflict in the Middle East, sending funding collected in actual fact, to the very terrorist militias that cause sectarian, tribal and anti-Western, along with anti-Israel war situations. There are a multitude of such groups masquerading as humanitarian while financially supporting Islamist terror groups.

 

In this instance, Khalilullah Yousuf, who was closely embroiled in an international ISIS funding network, communicated with the group through encrypted messages online, while taking part in recruitment and creating propaganda while providing methodology to supporters on how to mount successful attacks on behalf of violent Islamist culture. A two-year investigation on this man's activities involved intelligence forces in Canada, the U.S. and Spain, leading to an arrest in July of 2023. 

 

Cryptocurrency, increasingly being used for funding terrorism, may have signalled to authorities that there was something to investigate there. Samidoun, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Hezbollah and Hamas, have all received funding through Canadian sources that have successfully exploited the Canadian public to fund terrorism both abroad and internally.

 

Popular fundraising sites encourage crowdfunding in various and mostly specific categories that include patient medical needs, support of school teams, raising funds for Palestinian children, with sky-high funding goals. And while the platforms emphasize their trust that users will collect funds only for the stated reasons and not resort to illegally collecting funding in support of proscribed terror groups, any kind of actual policing of the results is not followed as being unfeasible.  

The Government of Canada itself sends mixed messages on the funding of terrorism; on the one hand decrying terrorism, and on the other continuing to fund it with taxpayer money. As with the Liberal government overturning the previous Conservative government's cutting off of UNRWA funding in recognition of its complicity in Palestinian terrorism where UNRWA-run school curricula teach Palestinian children to hate Jews and to visualize themselves as future martyrs in the 'struggle' against Israel.

 

Proven reports that UNRWA staff were actively involved in the October 7 attacks on southern Israel, and that almost two hundred were, while on UNRWA staff, also Hamas or Islamic Jihad operatives. UNRWA teachers glorify terrorism, encourage martyrdom, demonize Israelis and incite to antisemitism among their Palestinian pupils, modelling them in the vision of Hamas. Despite all of this, known and yet excused, the Liberal government continues its funding of UNRWA.

A Government in Disgrace Still Playing to Its Preferred Audience

The Liberal government of Justin Trudeau is in a precarious governing position, heading toward electoral oblivion. Justin Trudeau's formal announcement that he is stepping down as prime minister of Canada and his follow-up tactics of remaining in power until March through prorogation of Parliament has placed Canada in a vulnerable situation where government authority is absent authority under these circumstances. Yet he and his minions continue to act unimpeded by their reality of a caretaker government unentitled to continue as though they hold a mandate to do so.

Canadians have made it clear that their disgust with this prime minister's behaviour and decision-making has made them anxious to see him depart, with his replacement waiting in the wings. An election is also waiting in the wings where the Conservative Party is prepared to take the reins of government at the behest of the Canadian electorate prepared to give Pierre Poilievre a clear majority government and consign the Liberal Party to fourth-place standing and unlikely to capture more than 6 seats in Parliament.

Despite the loathing of the Canadian electorate for the worst government that Canada has ever suffered under, one that has brought economic ruin to the country, divided east from west, fractured unity not only provincially but by ethnic origins, each in their distrusting and abused silos, with runaway crime going unabated, soaring deaths from contraband opioids, a failing health care system where it has become logical somehow to offer sufferers medical 'assistance' in suicide, and people requiring urgent medical care dying while waiting for vital surgery, nothing appears to have curtailed the arrogance of a prime minister who sneers at those he is meant to serve, who disagree with his policies.

That International Development Minister Ahmed Hussen and MP Omar Alghabra have just completed a formal delegation to Turkey and Syria in the wake of a transitional regime since the fall of Bashar al-Assad, the butcher of Damascus whose 13-year sectarian war against his opposition citizens, where the new government is being led by an offshoot of al-Qaeda prepared to bring Sharia law to the country, is of little interest to Canada. Other than perhaps the 100,000 Syrian refugees the Trudeau government gave haven to. Millions of Syrian refugees in Turkey and throughout Europe are facing an enforced repatriation to Syria. No whisper of similar action in Canada.

$17.25 million in funding for humanitarian assistance; food, protection services, sanitation and health services, courtesy of the Canadian taxpayer has been given to Syria. Little different than offering millions to the Taliban in Afghanistan, which has taken up where it left off before the U.S. led NATO in a conflict to rescue Afghans from the Islamist talons of the Taliban and the capture of Osama bin Laden, after the tragedy of 9/11. Israel's 7/10 atrocities imposed by the Hamas terrorist group elicited a yawn from Trudeau and a ban on providing Israel with military gear in its invasion response of Gaza.

In Qatar the two Canadian Parliamentarians of Islamic heritage met with Qatar officials, as intermediaries in assisting Syria. Qatar, the friendly oil-rich state to the Taliban, and Hamas, whose funding of Hamas ensured it could assemble a military stockpile of deadly rocketry, hundreds of which have been aimed at Israel from the past to the present. Synchronizing with the Muslim Brotherhood, Qatar has infiltrated its brand of jihad discretely and effectively throughout Europe and North America. Is this where Canada's interests lie?

Hussen announced that Canada stands in solidarity with the people of Syria and those in neighbouring countries; that 'his' government is prepared to continue work to address the impacts of conflicts roiling the Middle East. Unspoken is the absence of Israel's welfare in this current Canadian government's concerns over the situation in the Middle East; the very nation that has been continually attacked and forced to respond in kind, but whose responses fail to find favour or support within the hallowed halls of Parliament under this Liberal government.

While Europe and the United States remain concerned over the Islamist factions in partnership with al-Qaeda of those insurgents now governing Syria on an 'interim' basis, Canada appears to have no such troubling concerns under the Liberal government's 'watchful' eye, focused unerringly on the impression it is making on the large Canadian-Muslim population that has swelled in the past ten years, under Liberal/Trudeau governance.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

Internal Canadian government documents give some insight to Canada's ongoing financial support to Afghanistan in humanitarian aid, meant to be delivered to suffering Afghans living a life of privation under Taliban rule, in the hopes that none of that financial aid goes to the government itself. The "Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan" under Taliban administration, has no diplomatic recognition from any nation. It has no international legitimacy. And its toxic rule has been a life-stopper for Afghan girls and women.

Global Affairs Canada issued a briefing note that while recognizing Canada's diminished focus on the country at a time when new crises are erupting elsewhere in the world, that ongoing funding in areas such as health, education and women's rights be maintained; given the odium in which the fundamentalist Islamist regime is held, there is no popularity among Canadian taxpayers to expend charitable funding to a country that its extremist rulers would be swift to appropriate.

"This could generate negative media interest", the document warns, should it be publicized, recommending a "reactive" communications strategy. Since the Taliban took over in 2021 and foreign missions were withdrawn along with a coalition led by the United States of military forces, the Taliban expelled international humanitarian groups leading to an exacerbated condition of non-foreign-interference in the affairs of the country bringing issues of education, health, food scarcity to a head.

Most countries strive to avoid direct government-to-government contact with the Taliban that risks legitimizing a regime known for its human rights abuses. Afghanistan is a country whose people face severe humanitarian pressures; the United Nations estimating that over 12 million Afghans suffer "acute food insecurity". Canada's government while refusing to recognize the Taliban as a legitimate government, has provided $367 million in assistance in the past three years. 

 

"Canada has continued to provide development assistance to the people of Afghanistan", a Global Affairs spokesman affirmed to an investigating journalist. Over the years of Canada's active involvement in Afghanistan the total that the government of Canada provided was over $4 billion in aid. Under the Taliban, girls are barred from attending school past Grade 6. Women cannot participate in most areas of the economy, and harsh rules have been imposed on their dress and their participation in social life.

There is nothing quite like the passion of humanitarian groups urging governments to fund their missions abroad. It is their reason for existence. For employing locally engaged people. For priding themselves on supporting those for whom few options remain other than to dream of a future without coercion, insecurity and starvation. That, in the process of delivering their humanitarian aid they relieve dictators of their own responsibility to provide for their populations is irrelevant; as is the fact that indirectly they are supporting those dictatorships.

Since Canada closed its embassy, cutting off direct assistance to the Afghan government since the Taliban takeover it has continued to provide critical support "without compromising our values", Global Affairs insists. Pointing out that 40,000 Afghans were brought to Canada, ostensibly saving them from Taliban threats, but leaving the question of adequate security measures being in place through the process. That an incident of recent street protests where extremists gathered to condemn Israel for its war in Gaza following the terrorist assault on Israel, flags of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Taliban have been seen. 'Death to Canada' has been heard, along with 'Death to Israel'.

The government of Canada insists that much of its funding aid has been directed to the Afghanistan Resilience Trust Fund, a World Bank project; funding that the briefing note recommended be reduced. Funding directed elsewhere in aid to Afghanistan is meant to focus on health, education, female rights and empowerment and humanitarian aid, the Global Affairs briefing note adds.

Academia in Canada, along with unions, have been expressing their opinions about the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza from the perspective of a viral propaganda campaign launched by Islamists and supporters of Palestinian 'resisters' of the Israeli 'occupation' of the West Bank and Gaza. That Israel is forced to maintain its overseer status is similar to the work of a zookeeper maintaining the enclosures of wild animals. 

 

Without that Israeli function of military supervision, Palestinian terrorists would enjoy free reign to attack Jews, whether those in authority, in the military, in security of law and order or civilians.

The administrators of the West Bank, the Palestinian Authority under President Mahmoud Abbas, and that of Hamas governing Gaza, incite their public to hatred and violence against Israel and Jews relentlessly. Both governments of the Palestinian Territories have never bothered to focus on establishing civilian governing infrastructure that would lead to the state status they so fervently speak of to the West. 

 

Israel's oversight is an existential requirement to ensure the safety and security of Israeli citizens, including the two million Palestinians who live in Israel as state-entitled citizens.

In Canada, the current government which prides itself on its progressive credentials which ensure quality of life and security for all Canadian citizens and residents, and cites equality of all, has experienced some value judgement equivocations in attempting to balance a fine line in reflection of its population of both Jews and Muslims, by giving as much credence to statements expressed by Hamas as it does those of official Israel. 

 

There has been no solid condemnation followed up by restraining actions by governments in Canada in response to vicious slanders, threats, violence, or criminal actions perpetrated by pro-Hamas groups in Canada against Canadian Jews and their institutions, much less Canadian public and private institutions.

On the very day of the barbaric invasion by Palestinian terrorists led by Hamas into southern Israel to carry out a pre-programmed slaughter of Jews, mass rapes, mutilations, and abductions of children, women and the elderly, the national negotiator for Canada's largest public service union responded to a social media post by the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs denouncing Canadians celebrating the atrocities, when he responded: "It is called liberation of stolen land, stupid!!!"

The logic of labelling ancestral heritage geography as stolen land aside, this kind of bald-faced libelous slander would never see the light of day if Islamists knew they would be held responsible under Canada's criminal law code for promulgating and promoting hatred of an identifiable minority. Under this government of Justin Trudeau's Liberals, that has not happened, nor will it happen. 

 

This government's eye is fixated on numbers; the large number of Muslims who now populate Canada, as opposed to the much smaller number of Canadian Jews.

Even as the scale of the massacre by Islamist terrorists in Israel was being clarified as new information was released, the barrage of celebratory 'protests' in support of Palestinian terror was unprecedented as an expression of sheer, unadulterated hatred. Choruses of 'final solution', 'intifada' and 'from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!' rang out on the streets of Canadian cities in well-orchestrated campaigns of intimidation of Jews in Canada and the furtherance of support among antisemitic fundamentalists in Canada. To which politicians tut-tutted, but made no move to respond to.

The day prior to the Israel Defense Forces' ground operation in Gaza, Husseini wrote to his followers: "Good morning and f--k #Apartheid_Israel and anyone who defends it and attempts to whitewash its #WarCrimes and genocide". Husseini compared Israel to Nazi Germany while accusing Canadian media of spreading "Zionist propaganda" as he compared Hamas terrorists to Jews during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising against the Nazi extermination machinery. 

 

Fred Hahn, a CUPE Ontario leader also praised the October 7 bloodbath.

 

"Unions should focus on their members' working conditions and benefits, not on divisive, amateurish, simplistic, one-sided, and toxic forays into foreign policy."

"It goes much further than simply Husseini. It is an organized campaign, led and inspired by people like Husseini and Fred Hahn and implemented by activists who are making Jewish union members unwelcome in organizations created to protect every one of their members."

"There are good reasons that some unions are being taken to human rights tribunals for anti-Jewish discrimination."
