Canadian Justice: Ease off on Abusers, Leave the Abused to Fend for Themselves

The infamously intractable issues of violence against Canadian aboriginal women has been a matter of shame, but not much mystery in the matter of 'Missing and Murdered Aboriginal Women' in Canada. With government vowing time after time that this tragic civilizational assault against the most basic of human rights for women of Indigenous heritage must stop. This is an issue well enough known, that for the most part injuries and deaths and absences of aboriginal women are the result of a cultural abomination, when they are victimized by none other than their intimate partners, aboriginal men.

 

In Canadian jurisprudence it has become a fait accompli that when judging aboriginal men for crimes they must  be viewed through the prism of colonialist trauma. Prison sentences meted out to aboriginal men who commit crimes and are convicted of those crimes must take into account their aboriginal backgrounds and the assumption that they are victims of racism, poverty and lack of opportunities in the white society that colonized Canada thus victimizing the Indian tribes already settled in the country. In penalizing Indigenous men to a lesser degree than their crimes warrant, Indigenous women are doubly victimized.

But this uneven application of the law has also been extended to include people of colour as well as migrants without status. Indigenous men and Blacks are over-represented in Canadian prisons despite that they represent a minority in Canada. Their penchant for committing crimes against society is higher than other groups in society, including the majority. That their numbers are over-represented in comparison to their minority numbers within the population is viewed as a fault in Canadian society, rather than as a possible reading that these groups tend to gravitate in greater numbers to the commission of crimes.

 

To sentence a migrant, refugee or undocumented person in Canada to a prison term long enough for them to be incarcerated in a federal prison is  to consign them to a removal order by Canadian Border Services, leading judges to opt for lesser sentences through the compassionate lens of 'fairness' to a presumed underdog. Invariably all too frequently those who commit criminal acts tend to take advantage of the situation, where bail is also readily available, enabling them to return to the commission of criminal acts resulting in minimal punishment.

 

Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre happened to describe an encounter he had with a woman from Vancouver who left the country for her personal safety under duress. At Vancouver International airport the woman had approached Mr. Poilievre to briefly inform him that she had left Canada to escape from an attacker. "You're my favourite Canadian", she told him. Then she described her reason for leaving Canada.  "I said I'd like to come home, and he said, in return 'We're going to get you home'," she later explained during an interview on the podcast The Elevate Report.

 

For his part, Mr. Poilievre mentioned the encounter with an anonymous woman when he responded to a question during a Vancouver press conference about public safety. "I met a lady at the airport the other day who told me that she moved from Vancouver to Mexico so that she would feel more safe", he stated. Online mockery over the statement was quick to follow. Flavio Volpe, president of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association wrote on social media: "Of all the things that did not happen, this one did not happen the most."

 

Doubts over the veracity of Mr. Poilievre's statement was raised again when a reporter, after speaking to World Cup fans in Vancouver relayed to him that they felt "pretty safe"; that "data shows that Mexico is far more unsafe than Vancouver". Mr. Poilievre was not to be shaken; he responded that the encounter at the airport really had occurred, that "there are a lot of women who frankly feel very unsafe in Canada today. And there are cases we've had of women testifying before parliamentary committees that they have left Canada because their partner, their violent partner, has been released from prison despite crime after crime after crime."

Cait Alexander who had testified to the Status of Women Committee in 2024, founded the group End Violence Everywhere. She had been brutally beaten by an intimate partner who was freed on bail the following day. She lives now full-time in California.

U.S. President Donald Trump is smirking triumphantly. It has been his very direct interference in Canadian affairs that succeeded in upsetting the trajectory of the April 28 general election. A situation where the Liberal Party of Canada succeeded in gathering a greater number of votes, sufficient to form a minority government, than the Conservative Party which had been surging in the polls before Mr. Trump introduced the shock of  his announced trade tariffs targeting first Canada and Mexico and China, before he included much of the rest of the world.

The Canadian public was well and truly sick of the Liberal government, its never-ending ethical scandals, its impoverishment of the Canadian economy, its massive annual deficits and a debt larger than anything any previous government had ever attained. The federal government estrangement from the Western provinces linked to its green agenda of refusing to exploit the generosity of natural resources in the energy field, has caused a rift between the provinces themselves, favouring the east and damning the west.

 

Runaway rising costs of food and lodging, a failing universal health system overburdened by an unsustainable and indiscriminate surge in immigration, refugee and migrant intake, along with other social services strained to their limits, including insufficient and prohibitively costly housing stocks, rising crime rates that a soft judiciary intent on giving bail for the most serious criminal offenders leading to a steadily rising crime rate. The twin problems of growing homelessness among whom people in mental distress loom large, along with an ever-widening circle of drug dependent, overdose-prone addicts.

President Trump, stay out of our election. The only people who will decide the future of Canada are Canadians at the ballot box. Canada will always be proud, sovereign and independent and we will NEVER be the 51st state.

Factor in ethnic/religious communities that no longer adapt to the Canadian way of life, its social contracts, its value system, its laws and regulations, and you have a restive population, resentful of a government whose policies and idiosyncracies in social engineering and race and gender politics have created deep divisions within society. His government was in tatters; the antithesis of all that it represented was seen in the Conservative government with its leader, Pierre Poilievre prepared, given the Conservative-approving soaring polls, to win the next election. And then along came Donald Trump. And along came an international banker set to replace Justin Trudeau, boasting a record of accomplishment as former Governor of the Bank of Canada and of Great Britain. A man every bit as narcissistic as Trudeau, given to stretching the truth to suit his agenda, a man for whom plagiarizing and claiming as his own the intellectual work of others, slid by his supporters.

 

 

On the campaign trail Mark Carney who was elevated into the role of Prime Minister by the simple (and unprincipled) expedient of being voted in as leader of the Liberal Party in place of Justin Trudeau, and who then went on to boast of his professional expertise and successes in the world of finance, with no experience whatever in politics, and no seat in Parliament, to promise that he, and only he could lead Canada in its battle against an American president determined to economically ruin Canada and annex it into American territory.

 

Canadians in enough of a majority voted for the man who promised he would be Donald Trump's worse nightmare. A man who charged his Conservative competitor Pierre Poilievre of being just like Trump. When the truth is that Trump saw Poilievre as an impediment to his plans of absorbing Canada, and Carney as a useful tool in his extortion and coercion plans. Immediately after the election, US. President Trump spoke of Mark Carney as a "very nice gentleman" and their latest telephone conversation "couldn't have been nicer and I congratulated him".

He plans, he stated, to meet with Carney "within the next week or less" in Washington, and expects to have a "great relationship" with Canada. "I actually think the Conservative hated me much more than the so-called 'Liberal'", Mr. Trump admitted. White House spokesperson Anna Kelly asserted to the Associated Press that the Canadian election "does not affect President Trump's plan to make Canada America's cherished 51st state". And his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt reinforced that message; that Trump's calls for Canada to become the 51st state were "Trump truthing, all the way".

 

The Canadian election outcome was heavily weighed by the antagonism seen from Trump against Canadian sovereignty and his disdain for the role of any Canadian prime minister whom he preferred to call a 'governor'. Trump made no secret of the fact that he planned to ruin the Canadian economy, as additional pressure to have Canada accede to his plans of being absorbed into the United States;  his personal quest for American dominance.

These were the positions directly impacting Canada's relations with the State of Israel following the Palestinian Hamas terror group's invasion of Israel on 7 October 2023, stated almost two years later by the competing political parties in Canada during the election campaign that culminated in the vote on April 28, 2025 that resulted in a fourth term of government office for the Liberal party. A Canadian vote that relegated the NDP to 'observer' status in the House of Commons when the vote count left it decimated and without official party status.

 

The only political party in Canada that defended the security and equality of Canadian Jews -- in a country so infiltrated by Palestinian and Muslim immigration, refugees and migrants that the country's Jewish population status has been violated by mobs of Hamas-sympathizing, Israel-hating, Jewish-demonizing rioters allowed to commit criminal offences that would never be tolerated by any level of government other than for Muslim groups, toward whom any criticism is immediately labeled 'Islamophobic' -- has been the Conservative party. 

 

To the great disappointment of the over four million Canadian voters that placed their trust in the Conservative party led by Pierre Poilievre, the Liberal party once again prevailed, to form a fourth consecutive government. To continue its ruinous governance of a once-great nation that has for the past ten years of government incompetence descended into economic insecurity, insufferable population density through runaway immigration policies, crime-ridden streets, identity politics leading to group alienation, provincial inequities, a faltering health-care system, and a housing crisis.

 

 

 

The platform of this 'new' Liberal government will be administered by the 'old' Cabinet minus the previous failed prime minister, which rubber-stamped every nation-crumbling initiative undertaken by the Justin Trudeau Liberal government. Where the green agenda of the previous Liberal government will now be resurrected on steroids by the new Liberal government, alienating Western Canada in its insistence that natural resources such as energy extraction will continue to be blocked, pipelines west-to-east, and exports abroad will be truncated, despite election promises to the contrary.

 

Crime in Canada has surged in the past decade under Liberal rule with dipping incarceration rates and a trend of rising crime. Asylum claims with foreign nationals requesting entry to Canada as refugees are surging, an increase of 1,700 percent from 2015 to 2025. Health care in Canada has been abysmal, with thousands of Canadians dying thanks to an incapacity in the health system for timely treatment; people dying while on wait lists for medical procedures necessary to sustain life.

 

Canada is drowning under a tsunami of national debt. The total sovereign debt stands at $1.4 trillion dollars. New debt has piled up since 2015 at a rate that eclipses anything in Canada's past. The federal public service, while delivering less service to the public than ever before, swelled to 367,722 from the 2015 total of 257,034 employees, a 43 percent increase. The recruitment crisis in the Canadian military has resulted in half of the military's ships, aircraft and vehicles are unusable, due to insufficient personnel to maintain them.

 

Runaway immigration has given us a population of 41.5 million, substantially increased from 2015's 34.8 million. Leading to critical shortages of doctors and adequate housing, while straining all public social services. Canada has one of the lowest birthrates in the world, 1.25 children per woman, similar to that of South Korea, Spain, Italy and Japan. Life expectancy in Canada has diminished; where the trend up to 2015 was longer lifespans, the past ten years has seen a reversal. 

 

Canadian per capita wages over the last ten years have fallen. The per capita GDP in 2015 was $43,594 according to the World Bank. In the last ten years the per capita GDP has stagnated; as of 2023 it was $44,468. Ten long, weary, disruptive, disappointing, disorienting years of Liberal governance has given Canada a faltering economy, a worsening of crime, pathetic public services, poor affordability levels, refugee backlogs and identity politics. And here we are, starting in on another four years of the same.

After too many years of Justin Trudeau as prime minister of Canada when he was first enthusiastically welcomed in 2015 as a fresh new face that would give Canada a fresh new perspective and prosperity going into the future as well as harmony between provinces and the federal government would finally arrive,given Trudeau's much-vaunted 'sunny ways', Canadians fed up with his Liberal administration finally stated loud and clear that with this man continuing at the helm of the Liberal party, the next general election would commit the Liberals to last place, hanging on to scant seats.

 

With the proverbial writing on the wall, Justin Trudeau had few options but to resign, although he did it on his terms, taking his time and arranging a successor long in the sights of the party. Bearing in mind that each and every Liberal Member of Parliament and certainly those that made up Trudeau's bloated cabinet supported and advanced every initiative that he took as prime minister, from embracing Critical Race Theory, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and LGBTQ-2+, along with transgender rights for school-age children. 

 

Above all, his Cabinet was quick to agree with their prime minister's environmental agenda that virtually shut down Canada's exploitation of its energy natural resources. Pipelines to carry oil and LNG to points within Canada itself, much less to tidewater ports along with badly needed refinery capacity were cancelled by the Liberal government as a goodwill environmental gesture, while the country imported energy from foreign sources. Perhaps most visually and dysfunctionally evident has been the eruption of public displays of robust celebration of the right of Palestinians in Gaza to promote Palestinian terrorist groups as 'fighters' against Israeli oppression.

These 'fighters', as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad demonstrated their fighting skills by entering southern Israel in a coordinated rush of thousands of operatives with orders to create deadly mayhem in as wide a circle as possible, and some five thousand terrorists, complemented by ordinary Palestinians wasted little time in proving their prowess at mass rape, employing sadistic savagery to mutilate, rape and murder Israeli girls and women. Entire families were wiped out in farming communities, their homes torched while they sought shelter in their 'safe rooms'. The toll of 1,200 massacred, 250 taken hostage is celebrated in the streets of Canadian cities by Palestinians and their sympathizers as 'resistance' to 'occupation', calling for a global Intifada and Final Solution.

Canada's immigration system gone awry, welcoming 'refugees' from a conflict they initiated, along with illegal migrants, students on visas, temporary workers, all straining universal social welfare, including the country's medicare system and creating a dire shortage of housing capacity. The infiltration of a religious/political cohort with no intention of integrating into Canada's culture, its values, its judicial system has resulted in chaos, rising crime rates and a near-dysfunctional society incapable of stemming the tide of hostile relations between ethnic groups as civilizational norms become charged with resentment and hatred.

 

So what does the Liberal cabinet look like under Mark Carney, former banker, economist, self-promoter, short-tempered doctoral plagiarist and narcissist look like? Amazingly like the Justin Trudeau Liberal cabinet. And what does the 'new' Liberal cabinet agenda hold for Canada? Ah well, more of the same, only somewhat shielded from close scrutiny as the new Liberal leader makes his agenda-cautious bid during a general election for an electoral mandate to govern with a majority, not the vanishing minority threatened under a renewed Trudeau government.

 

Mark Carney's experience in two prestigious government positions; as Governor of the Bank of Canada, and later Governor of the Bank of England, distinguished him as a  high flyer, but his actual performance in each of those positions was less than glowing, despite his current boasts of his positions having been indispensable to good government and even better economics in both countries. The revelation that he had plagiarized other economists' work without attribution, to plump up his doctoral thesis at Harvard revealed a man with rather loose personal ethics.

 

Mark Carney's dedication to left-wing environmental politics is not second to Justin Trudeau's; the latter was an apprentice to the former. Wealth and a strong GDP performance now eludes Canada; our earning powers have been starkly diminished. And Mark Carney, while disavowing any intention to commit Canada not to disturb its vast energy resources in favour of 'renewable energy' sources is playing sly games with Canadians' trust through his utter lack of integrity. His flirtation with the truth has been revealed, as for example when he denied his role in the decision by Brookfield Asset Management to move its head office to the U.S. 

As for his crowd-pleasing decision to lift the carbon tax for individuals (while leaving it intact for corporations), consider this: his career of the last several years was one of campaigning internationally for net zero emissions -- certainly impacting Canada's oil and gas resources. The Net Zero Banking Alliance he created, committing major international banks to net zero carbon emissions has seen latterly, major banks dropping out. The bloom is off that rose, but Mr. Carney's determination to carry on with his net-zero future for Canada remains on tap. Meanwhile, he is busy purloining from the Conservative campaign of Pierre Poilievre promises they initiate, claiming them as his own.

 

Should this man be elected to lead a renewed Liberal government -- with all the accoutrements of the old, discredited Liberal government, including the same tired old, but newly-fired up members of Cabinet, all of whom did their enthusiastic utmost to sell Justin Trudeau's unpopular, divisive and disturbing agenda from a 'post-national' Canada, to one bursting at the seams with new Canadians for whom there are too scant services and little intelligent scrutiny respecting their anticipated capacity to integrate into Canadian culture, in the process destroying all that is decent and civilized -- all the rejected positions taken by the 'old' Liberal government, will flare into new life under the 'new' Liberal government.

"If  you can take him to the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto, you can get the million-dollar reward", advised Liberal electoral candidate Paul Chiang to an news conference comprised of Chinese-language media, in reference to Conservative candidate Joe Tay who had been charged under the Hong Kong national security law as a threat to Beijing for his Canada-based YouTube channel critical of the Beijing-dominated CCP government.

 

When the comment hit headlines in the legacy media in Canada, calls for the Liberal party to disown Mr. Chiang and remove him as a Liberal candidate for the April 28 federal election expressed the disgust of most Canadians. Derisory statements by opposing political party candidates are not uncommon during election campaigns, but seldom do they cross the line into currying to foreign interference in Canada's affairs and certainly never to the extent that one candidate incites to violence against another.

 

Pressure came fast and furious even within the Liberal party for Mr. Chaing to be removed as a candidate in view of his comments last week. The bounty in  question, in Hong Kong dollars $1 million, transcribes to $183,000 in Canadian currency. Any taker could be assured of earning themselves a reward for luring the Conservative candidate to appear at the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto where he would be spirited to China and imprisoned as a traitor to Beijing -- but certainly not to China.

 

Mr. Chaing informed the Chinese-language media that given Mr. Tay's position on China and Beijing's response, should Mr. Tay be elected to Parliament, the Hong King criminal charge would be a cause of "great controversy", according to the Ming Pao newspaper. And no doubt it would, since the Liberal Party goes out of its way to pacify Beijing, and continues to build on its relationship through trade, despite the assaults on Canadian sovereignty where Canadians have been falsely imprisoned, Canadians have received the death penalty in China, and Chinese interference in Canadian affairs is deeply troubling.

Even so, even when Canadian Intelligence has warned government on many occasions through updated reports that China is among those countries -- foremost among those countries -- that have used their expatriate Chinese-Canadian community originally from Mainland China to act as agents for Beijing, as well as instructing all expats that it is their ancestral patriotic duty to infiltrate and capture whatever advances in technology, science, medicine, and military news helpful to be conveyed to China's possession.

 

Mr. Chiang himself saw fit to apologize soon after  his comments were publicized:

"The comments I made were deplorable and a complete lapse of judgement on the seriousness of the matter. I sincerely apologize and deeply regret my comments."

"I will always continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Hong Kong in their fight to safeguard their human rights and freedoms."

 

And while unelected PM-incumbent Mark Carney is satisfied to let the matter lie there and continue to approve Mr. Chiang as a Liberal candidate, the man himself took the initiative to resign from the Liberal candidacy. Whether his apology is sincere is debatable. He still took the right course in apologizing and taking himself out of the election. There is no debate that Mr. Carney, on the other hand, has often engaged in dishonourable conduct. He has bent the truth to suit his fabricated explanations.

 

And on this occasion he has spectacularly failed to act with conscience and integrity. Canadians should hold him to account for this, yet another lapse in judgement on his part. On the other hand, government officials tasked with identifying and responding to foreign threats during the election period acknowledge they are monitoring the situation closely. Moreover, the RCMP has opened an investigation in the matter. While the man aspiring to be elected Prime Minister of Canada succumbed to his own lack of moral integrity.

 

Mr. Tay has been left uneasy and concerned over his safety, given the obvious nature of the threats against him posed by a foreign government whose record on human rights is abysmal. He has stated that the situation left him fearing for his safety. Spurring him to get in touch with the RCMP for his personal protection, and demanding that Carney fire Chiang. A demand that thirteen pro-democracy groups in Canada linked to Hong Kong produced a statement urging the Liberal Party to "send a clear message" in removing Chiang's candidacy, making it clear they cannot accept his "insincere apology".

"And they are not just aimed at me. They are intended to send a chilling signal to the entire community in order to force compliance to Beijing's political goals."

In an address at the Ottawa official Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony, Pierre Poilievre who is poised to become Canada's next prime minister, addressed the attendees with his proposal to deport participants in hate activities specializing in radical anti-Israel, anti-Jew rallies that have become a regular feature of Canada's city streets. The calls for the destruction of Israel, the unending harassment and threats against Canadian Jews have become rampant and forthright in their unadulterated antisemitic rage. The temporary ceasefire in Gaza only appeared to serve as an impetus for greater calls of a 'final solution'.

Organized and led by invested groups that include Toronto4Palestine, the Palestinian Youth Movement and student groups such as McGill University's Students for Palestine's Honour and Resistance, since the barbaric atrocities of October 7, 2023 these foreign-fed radical hate-fests have become common sights of disruption, threats, and violence across Canada. Hundreds of rallies, blockades, encampments and efforts at boycotts of Jewish-owned businesses have taken place. Rallies in front of synagogues, Jewish parochial schools, and Jewish neighbourhoods have disrupted life for city residents, while focusing hate on Canadian Jews.

 

 

In the immediate wake of the October 7, 2023 sadistic savagery when thousands of Palestinian terrorists swarmed into Israel from Gaza to surround and enter agricultural kibbutzim, families were burned alive in their homes, young Israelis attending a Nova Music Festival were stalked, hunted and murdered, women were sadistically mutilated while being raped, children and the elderly were gunned down and these unspeakably brutal acts of inhumanity became a reason for celebration for the groups that now call for Israel's destruction.

It took no time for the celebrations to turn into demands for a ceasefire and charges of Israel committing a 'genocide' in Gaza. Not the Hamas terrorists whose deliberate use of the Palestinian population in Gaza as human shields, committing a crime against their own, but Israel in defending her population from the drive of Palestinian terrorists to slaughter Jews. Cause and effect that is rational and a just response is an infuriating injustice to the Palestinians who clog city streets in Canada demanding Israel's demise, and along with the state, the Jews inhabiting it.

As police stood by mutely observing, jubilant crowds in Montreal blocked intersections, chanting in Arabic, lighting smoke bombs, led by the Palestinian Youth Movement, to mark the ceasefire with a 'victory' rally through the downtown, a banner reading "Ceasefire Today. Liberation Tomorrow."

 

 

An official Facebook post by Montreal4Palestine promoted a rally titled 'From Gaza to Jenin, Liberate all of Palestine, which read: "The bloodthirsty Zionists will stop at nothing to continue their evil and oppression".

 

Where Prime Minister Justin Trudeau saw fit to do nothing to deter rampaging mobs of antisemites on steroids, preferring to allow them to act without interference by law and order, despite their disruptive and criminal actions, thus giving a muted assent to the ongoing furor and increasing violence, the position taken by the leader of the Official Opposition in the House of Commons will shortly have the opportunity to return Canada to its values-based commitment to human rights and support of a fellow democracy assailed by the scourge of terrorism.

The Absent Authority of the Prime Minister

The town council of the Montreal suburb of Hampstead has expressed a no confidence position through a unanimous resolution, in the Liberal government of prime minister Justin Trudeau, for  his and its failure to take substantive action upholding Canada's traditional support of Israel in the United Nations, as a collegial Liberal-Democratic state sitting alone in a Middle East sea of Sheikhdoms, Kingdoms and Petroleum Dictators hostile to the Jewish state's existence. That it has also failed spectacularly to offer security and safety to Canada's long-standing Jewish community is beyond comprehension.

For the town council, in a suburb that is comprised of a majority Jewish residency, the opportunity arose for an assemblage of Jews in a political position to assert itself in support of Canadian Jews in the midst of a raging torrent of rising antisemitism in the wake of Israel's military entering Gaza for the express purpose of demolishing the terrorist group Hamas, which governs the Palestinian enclave. A terrorist group, furthermore, that is listed on Canada's own proscribed terrorist list. Despite which pro-Hamas demonstrations led by Palestinian-, Arab- and Muslim-Canadians denigrating Jews and accusing Israel of 'genocide', elicit no meaningful response from Justin Trudeau.

At the town council meeting where the resolution passed unanimously, its mayor addressed those present citing examples of antisemitism, among them a Nazi-era-inspired caricature of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, portraying him as a vampire. And while Trudeau correctly identified the cartoon as 'antisemitic', as did a number of other Members of Parliament, and the newspaper, La Presse, withdrew the cartoon and apologized, it represents a typical legacy press slander against Israel in the wake of the October 7 desecration of Jewish lives mounted by Hamas in Israel.

Hampstead council also passed a legal initiative in the creation of a new bylaw that prohibits removal of hostage posters, backing the bylaw with a $1,000 fine, pointing the way that such small gestures can be effective and emulated for that purpose by other politicians as incremental measures to combat antisemitism. To above all, send a message that Canadian Jews do not stand alone in the vast country they love where they were born and have every right to the expectation of equal treatment and respect from their countrymen, including recent immigrants from Middle East countries where Muslim-majority populations' cultural traditions victimize Jews.

Located in the near geographic vicinity to Hampstead is the Montreal Holocaust Museum, where pro-Palestinian activists protested in early Mach, a demonstration organized by the Concordia University student chapter of Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights which spoke of the October 7 massacre of Jews in southern Israel as "an unfaltering desire for liberation"; that they "hold the Israeli regime fully responsible for the escalating violence".

At that time, Mayor Levi wrote: "To the Pro-Hamas demonstrators who gathered outside a Montreal Jewish Community building, spreading anti-Israel and anti-Jewish sentiments: your disgrace is inappropriate and misplaced". Mayor Levi spoke once more of his support for Conservative Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre, underscoring his confidence in his and his party's "ability to act decisively" in the best interests of returning Canada to its traditional support of Israel, and full acceptance of its responsibility toward Canada's Jewish population.
